First staged at Bristol Old Vic in 2014, Sally Cookson's acclaimed production of Jane Eyre is returning to the stage, much to the delight of theatre-goers.

Sally Cookson’s daring and dynamic adaptation of Charlotte Brontë’s classic novel Jane Eyre will return to the stage at Bristol Old Vic this winter.

The stellar production, which was transferred to the National Theatre’s stage in London, will once again draw in local theatre-goers, when it plays at Bristol Old Vic on selected dates between Thursday 21 January and Saturday 6 February 2016.

Brontë’s empowering tale follows brave heroine Jane from her humble, desolate beginning and her ongoing courage in face of the hardships which face her.

Featuring the original cast and creative team, Sally Cookson’s impressive play is set to delight even more literature and theatre buffs on its return to Bristol.
