Fans of the bard can look forward to an open-air performance of his famous tragedy, Hamlet, within the unique setting of Bristol Zoo Gardens.

Offering a theatre experience like no other, Bristol’s famous Zoo Gardens will host an open-air performance of classic tragedy, Hamlet, with proceeds going to support Bristol Zoological Society and its charities.

The summer event, which will take place on Thursday 23 June 2016, will see an all-male cast tackle the bard’s great play, delivering a Shakespearean-style performance which will bring the tragic tale spectacularly to life.

Full of drama, deceit, and devastation, Hamlet follows the unfortunate prince as he seeks revenge against his evil uncle, which leads to dire consequences.

Bristol Zoo Garden’s seasonal event offers the chance for theatre-goers to experience a classic play in a unique new light, with proceeds going to support a worthwhile cause.
