A unique festival which celebrates contemporary theatre, Mayfest will return to the city of Bristol for another brilliant year.

Produced by MAYK theatre organisation, in association with Bristol Old Vic, annual arts event Mayfest will return to Bristol for a city-wide celebration of contemporary theatre.

With events taking place across established theatres and non-theatre spaces in Bristol from Thursday 12 to Sunday 22 May 2016, the festival promises a varied programme of performances along with the return of Mayfest Radio.

Confirmed events for 2016 include Still House’s dance event Of Riders and Running Horses which will return to the festival following a previous sell-out performance; Bryony Kimmings and Tim Grayburn's award-winning show Fake it 'till you Make it; and riotously funny The Complete Deaths, a show directed by Tim Crouch which sees all of Shakespeare’s deaths performed onstage.
